Engaging Organisations have a clear sense of focus to which they align high levels of organisational energy. They achieve high customer recommendations, high productivity levels and continuous innovation and improvements.

Engaging Organisations
are characterised as being good to work with, and good to work for. They create high customer satisfaction levels and employee commitment. They achieve a real return on relationships.

Whatever the size of your organisation, the Engaging Pathway described on this site is the route to engaging well with customers, employees, and other stakeholders in a purposeful and productive way and becoming recognised as a truly engaging organistion.

The Resources here enable you to connect organisational energy to organisational purpose and organisational purpose to customer focus. In doing so, you will move to higher levels of customer and employee engagement and much higher productivity. Taking the pathway represents one of the most affordable ways to improve business performance. Many of the resources are free, so you are virtually guaranteed a high ROI.

This video will give you a quick introduction.

Not all organisations are Engaging Organisations. Many might like to think they are passionate, purposeful and productive. Research suggests a lot can do better.

This site is for those organisations who believe they can be better.

It does not take much to turn that desire into action. Along the pathway, there are five steps to success

1. Review your organisation purpose, and business model, for customer focus

2. Share, with your employees, five core beliefs about business relationships.

3. Take action in twelve areas to improve your engagement infrastructure.

4. Strengthen manager capability to engage employees, to engage customers

5. Assess how you are doing through a short survey.

There is also a route for smaller organisations with few employees, or managers.

Whatever your size, the strategic clarity, organisational fitness, and employee commitment you will achieve in working your way along the pathway will make you wonder how you managed before.

Be recognised for what you achieve!

Share with your employees 1) a strong customer focussed purpose that drives your business model, 2) five core beliefs about the importance of engaging well with employees, with customers and others,  and you can apply, for free, on a basis of trust that you have done this, for a recognition badge that shows you are 'Determined to be an Engaging Organisation'

Take the next three steps to success along the pathway and achieve 75% for your approach in a short survey and you can achieve 'The Engaging Organisation Award' badge / mark. You can use this to show you are trusted by employees and customers.

The survey is short - just fifteen questions -  costs £100 for up to 100 employees (£150 for up to 200, £200 for up to 400, £250 for higher numbers). It is web based, so can be done by any organisation, anywhere - you just provide a link to your staff and tell us your closing date.

After your staff have completed the survey, you will get a high value output. It will show you where you can get higher customer impact and productivity. On this site you can download some resources which will offer you methods to achieve that higher customer impact and productivity as well as increasing your scores.

An Unusual Feature

The unusual feature of this concept is that first stage recognition is done entirely on TRUST. However if you abuse the trust , people will get to know and will talk about it to your detriment. That is why displaying the badge / mark is so important, you are saying we can be trusted and you are confident that you will get general support for this.

An unusual second feature is that there is little bureaucracy. You have the flexibility to change the requirements to suit you. No external assessors are required. There is minimal cost, and little need for external consultants, except where you clearly need them!

Unusually too, this approach comes with some useful resources that can help you start improving straight away.

Taking the Engagement Pathway is simple and will give you purposeful and productive results.

The Pathway is flexible too. You can stay on it, or leave at any point. You move at your own speed. You are not committed to anything unless you want to be recognised as an Engaging Organisation. It is up to you how far you take this. Yet, if you do take an interest in some of the items on this site, the chances are you will significantly improve what you do.

To achieve recognition in the form of a mark / badge, you have to earn the trust of your employees and demonstrate to them how trust is , and has been, established with customers.

By being recognised they are good to work with, and good to work for, organisations can attract more customers and better employees. By showing they are 'Determined to be an Engaging Organisation', an organisation shows it is serious in working well with people.

So there are good reasons for becoming an Engaging Organisation. And the resources on this site will help you on the way.
